Summer time is in full swing and you know what that means: Summer Jams! Here’s five songs that are absolute must haves on your playlist this summer.
- Work From Home – Fifth Harmony
- Catchy chorus with “work” in it. How can you not love it? Plus the beat is pretty nice and it’s always fun to try to hit all the high notes. On top of that, there is a rap that isn’t difficult to remember AND everybody wants to feel like a rapper from time to time.
- House Party- Sam Hunt
- The anthem for a good time. When “House Party” comes one, you know it’s about to be a great and memorable summer night. And it’s Sam Hunt. You can’t go wrong with a little Sam Hunt in your summer playlist.
- Work- Rihanna ft. Drake
- Work is the theme for 2016 and won’t go away in the summer. “Work” by Rihanna and Drake is that song that comes on in the car and your mood is instantly lifted; you’re doing the one thing you’ve always been told not to do: don’t get distracted while driving. Or, it’s that song that comes on when you’re out with a group of friends and you’re instantly dancing.
- I Took a Pill in Ibiza – Mike Posner
- Despite the not so great title of the song, it has an adverse effect. This song will kick start your night out, setting the tone for a great night. If you happen to hear it more than once in one night, then it’s about to be an amazing night.
- Lazy Song- Bruno Mars
- Among the bunch of newbies, a classic has to be thrown into the mix. By the end of the summer, this song will fit your mood to a Tee. Summer jobs, internships, or just staying out late during the week (weekends, too) will have its toll on you by the time it’s time to start school and work again.
