Nothing beats getting up in the stand at the crack of dawn and sitting in dead silence until you see that beautiful 8-point strut right in between your crosshairs. If you’re like me, you’re already counting down the days until you get to send Bambi’s daddy home to the Lord, but in case you’ve forgotten, here’s a few helpful dates for deer season along with other popular game. 10/15 – 1/8 (Primitive Weapons)

10/22 – 1/8 (Rifle Season)

Dove:   9/3 – 9/18

Duck:   11/19 – 11/27

12/10 – 1/29

Quail:   11/12 – 2/28

Turkey: 3/25 – 5/15
